The Examinations Office is the office of the Examination Board of a degree program. It supports the examination board or its chairperson in all matters that fall within its remit. In addition, it offers advice and services for students and KIT institutes on questions regarding the SPO of a degree program or general administrative matters of the examination system. Within the scope of its responsibilities, it is a central contact point for other KIT faculties and their institutes as well as for central KIT facilities. At the KIT Faculty of Business Administration and Economics, the Examination Office is responsible for the following degree programs

  • Industrial Engineering BSc/MSc
  • Digital Economics BSc/MSc
  • Technical Economics BSc/MSc

Service times

The telephone service set up at fixed times (Mon - Thu from 10.00 to 12.00) instead of opening hours has proven to be an efficient and convenient alternative for all parties. However, if you would like to visit the Examinations Office in person for an important reason, you can discuss this with us in advance by e-mail or during the telephone service hours.

Submission of documents

Documents can either be submitted as pdf attachments in an e-mail (from your KIT account). Urgent and urgent requests should be marked "eilt: ..." in the subject line. The text should then include the reason for the urgency and the deadline.

Or they can be submitted on paper via the PS-WiWi mailbox on the first floor of building 05.20 (main entrance) (always remember to include the student's key data and the KIT e-mail address). However, priority should always be given to submission by e-mail.

Please note: For technical reasons, handwritten forms can no longer be processed, therefore only electronically completed forms will be accepted.

Personal consultations, via self-made online reservations for the specified dates, take place by telephone. Extension: 0721 6084 7472.
