You are internationally-minded and networking across borders is crucial to you?  You are familiar with the administration of studies and teaching at the KIT Department of Economics and Management and like to get to know people from other countries? Then the ESN Buddy Program is the right thing for you!

What is the ESN Buddy Program?

In order to promote the exchange between local and international students of the KIT Department of Economics and Management, we cooperate with ESN Karlsruhe. The special feature of this program is that two students from the KIT Department of Economic Sciences are matched together, thus enabling not only personal but also professional exchange.
It is the perfect opportunity to prepare yourself culturally for your semester abroad. You can learn first-hand information about a foreign culture or even practice the language spoken in your destination country for your semester abroad!

What tasks can I expect as a Local-Buddy?

Especially at the beginning of the semester, you can support your international buddy in organizational matters concerning your studies at the KIT Department of Economics and Management. There are no fixed requirements for the scope of the exchange, you decide individually how often you meet and what you do.  

By successfully participating in the program, students of the KIT-Department of Economics and Management receive two extra points for their Erasmus application and, upon request, a certificate for social engagement.
