Residence permit / Aliens Department - Final prognosis

If the Immigration Office requests a certificate from the university stating how long you expect your studies in the WiWi degree program to take until you graduate in order to extend your residence permit, it is best to contact the WiWi Examination Office by e-mail. Together with the e-mail, please send a current transcript of records in pdf format. Other relevant information about the planned graduation (e.g. achievements already completed but not yet documented, planned semesters of leave ...) should be listed briefly in your email and timed to the planned semesters.
The Examinations Office will issue a certificate of expected graduation based on the course of study and performance to date and taking other relevant information into account.
